First studied massage in 1986, becoming licensed in the state of Washington in 1991.  I've worked in many different arenas having utilized many techniques I've learned through the years...swedish, treatment, positional release, reiki, therapeutic touch, lomi lomi, deep tissue, etc.  I was blessed in that my late wife Yvonne taught massage for 10 years and I was exposed to many different modalities in that time.


The first time I was exposed to an Awareness through Movement® lesson was in Maui, at a Lomi Lomi massage workshop in 1995.

I finally began my studies in the Feldenkrais Method in 2002, graduating from Bend, OR training in 2005.

Currently I teach weekly Awareness through Movement® (group class) lessons at:
Limit of 8 per class at the AlkiMoves studio.

I also offer individual lessons (Functional Integration®), these are also offered at the AlkiMoves studio.  House calls within West Seattle are available too.

In my spare time you'll find me gardening, biking, walking the dog, playing in the occasional band, travelling, spending time with wife and kids, remodeling homes, playing with my model RR.
